I explore seismological records. Detecting, labeling and tracing the activity of the unusual/rare natural seismic sources (anomalies in the time series) are currently on the top of my research interests.

In my PhD:

a) I developed a robust detection algorithm which provides a wide variety of seismic signals. They can be used later in the training part of other detection techniques. It enhances the local seismic event catalogs up to 4 times more in number of events (magnitude ML < 1) and makes the detection of weak and unknown signals possible in an efficient way .

b) I estimated the moved magma volume beneath the Laacher See volcano, Germany, using the 8 years of continuous seismological records of the DEEP-DEE project.
